When establishing Silk Route Spirits, Mark and Phil wanted to maintain their commitment to supporting young people and working with projects in local communities that provide opportunities for young people to succeed.

That is why they have committed to providing a share of the profits to supporting groups that work with young people both across the UK and abroad. TURKEY

In response to the tragedy that occurred in Turkey in February 2023 Silk Route Spirits made its first donation to help the displaced children affected by the earthquakes. Many children have been resettled to the Altinkum area and are currently living in temporary accommodation or a makeshift camp and arrived in the town with few or no possessions. Working with local organisations Silk Route Spirits has funded the provision of essential clothing and educational equipment to enable the children to attend local schools. At the request of the local organisation, we made a further donation in March 2023 to provide personal hygiene products and at the request of the young people several footballs! Despite all the trauma caused by the devastation the young people remind us of what it is to be young!
